September 19th 2009 Wedding at The Columns in Greenwood
Not a video this week. I had a bride and groom last night who had a lot of small children in attendance for their reception and they wanted to make them feel a part of the reception. I brought a plexiglass montage photo frame that had spaces for 10 photos along with washable markers and 4" x 6" blank index cards. I asked the kids to draw things they saw throughout the wedding and reception and they had a blast all night creating their wedding art - Many more of the "masterpieces" were placed in back of the mounted drawings you see and the couple can rotate them from time to time. I had my favorite as you can see on the far right : )

September 16th 2009 Wedding at The Sky Line Club
Lots of dancing and then we found a closet rock star!
During our planning meeting, the couple I worked with October 10th wanted to know if I could get a "soul train" type dance going.
No problem!

The wedding season is winding down. It's going to be hard to top 2009 - but I'm looking forward to trying!

but when Bands of America comes to town they hire us to play for their big downtown party - It's always a blast doing this event!

I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Mandy and Drew Arnold's wedding reception which was held at the incredibly beautiful Indianapolis Arts Garden.
